birthdayHappy Birthday Bubble!Today is Ava’s first birthday Ava is an easy baby, as far as babies go I guess, I have been blessed with great children (Ava being number 4 for me), she is happy and interactive, loves to play with other children, gives great cuddles and kisses. Has a big beautiful smile with a few little white teeth which is immediately infectious to all around. We celebrated her birthday on Sunday with her friends and family, great turn-out! I am looking forward to many more years ahead Happy birthday bubble Daddy loves you Cake decorated by Andrea (mum) and me :-)

Eurostar Party
We started off by making the invites look like a Boarding Pass which went down well with the kids. For the main event we’d made a Eurostar in the garage out of cardboard and painted it. The two boys just loved helping make it, that in itself was just a great activity for dad and sons. I’d also made up a video and soundtrack of a drivers-eye view going along the tracks and into the tunnel.
So it’s amazing what you can do with some cardboard, poster paints, You Tube and a projector borrowed from work. - Jamie

Turning 1
She has such a little attitude of her own and is very independent. So having a party for her was out of the question so what we did was to take her to her grandparents and invite a few people there. We didn’t want to have a big party that would require thousands of little people running around and parents alike trying to control them. So we just had a quiet party with a few family members which was great as well. I think once you have a one year old the fun really begins, because they really start thinking like adults and they want to do everything that you do, and they are so helpful, and I love that also. They have their own little personalities and they know what they want and don’t want!

I thought I’d tell a quick story about my son’s 6th birthday party last weekend. He wanted it to be a themed Eurostar party which was a bit of a challenge. 
Once everyone had their tickets clipped and was aboard, I made it dark and played the video. The kids just thought it was great.
Pyper turned 1 year old on Sunday 27th July. It has been an amazingly quick 12 months, and I still find it hard to believe how quick my little lady is growing up.
A special HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish goes out to all babies who are born today or were born on the 29th of February. Today is your birthday FOR REAL - YAY!!! Extra special celebrations are called for I think.
