I really needed to hear this.

I really needed to hear this. Thank you!

If it's true that in the stone age, men were the hunters while women stayed at home to nurture and care for the kids, a nose bleed can seem quite trivial to being chased by a wild boar, bear or cougar, or teetering on a cliff while trying to spear your families meal for that night.

The bottom line is that men and women are just different creatures with different inherent roles and instincts for survival in life (I'm sure I'll catch hell from woman's rights movements everywhere for this - too bad!).

We can't deny that we're each built entirely different!!! We have no control over that. That's how we each came out of the womb...

I'm completely useless to my family if I don't have my own alone time to do what pleases me. I'm entitled to get in touch with my soul and recharge.

I was brought up by a dominating mother who constantly told me how selfish I was for thinking only of my self. She didn't like the fact that I rebelled against and refused to buy into her feelings of constantly being a victim who was always waiting for the bottom to fall out.

My dad was a spineless human being...definitely no healthy role model for me to follow.

The bottom line is; I'll do what I want when I want which includes time with my kids and wife and I won't think twice or feel the slightest bit guilty about it!!!

Take that mommy dearest!!!
