I think this is a huge and monumental step towards change which the president is taking.. and I have a lot more respect for him after seeing this. The fact is that it's obviously not such an attractive and logical thing for someone in his position to be pushing the point on. I feel it would be hard for him to slip out of the mold of expectations previously set, where most people in power would focus on solving the more "sexy" problems directly like crime and unemployment. When you think about it, making changes to America and the world must begin at home, and so he is getting to the root of the cause of many of the country's problems by tackling this and other similar base-issues. The impact this man ends up having may well become the most significant change to ever take effect in modern history.. If he can influence and motivate enough people to follow in his footsteps we might hope to see a better future for all. Unfortunately though, he is still only one man, and so it takes everyone's efforts, motivations and perseverance's to really make change. This is, I think, something Obama is well aware of.
