Unfortunately your stat's are right on! Im on to my second marriage and have had so many "challenges", especially trying to manage the merging of my wife's kids, her ex, my kids, my ex,our dogs and now are own child!!!!!!
My wife got us involved with the Step Family Association. Been good to talk with others who share the same struggles. We have just started to use a new product called the Two Homes Organiser which manages your kids movements between all the different houses and all their activities and general info. So far so good! We're now not having as many arguments over "miscommunication". Worth giving it a carack if you're juggling kids that move between different houses.
