Yeah. I don't agree. I still believe that 2 children is a much healthier decision.
The main reason I tell people, "For heaven sake, have 2 not 1 child" is that going through the insurmountable amount of stress and anxiety of dealing with one's parental units when they are ill and near their time to pass can be excruciating doing it solo. I'm in this situation and it would be incredible to be able to have a sibling to share the responsibilities and tough decisions with as well as have someone to mourn their passing with when they go. Just my two cents...but I'm pretty damn sure I'm not the only one in this type of situation.
