My wife and I layed down the rules very early on that if we were to have kids then one of us was to stay home with them.
We don't believe that you have kids for someone else to raise.
I don't believe kids learn any more from going to daycare as they would from you, we go to Playgroup 1 morning a week where our girl gets to play and interact with others. But there, I can still keep an eye on her and I get to talk to real people myself(mainly mums).
I understand you would probably only be using a daycare a few days a week or something?
For the same money I would rather get a cleaner in to do that side of things, or a student nanny to play with your child for a few hours.
