Mark,
I agree that wrestling with your children is healthy. But how far should it go? I've been dating a guy for 4 years who has a 19-yr-old daughter who lives with his ex-wife...they divorced before she was 3. Since that time he only had her every other weekend but by 10 she didn't want to go over to his house anymore. From that point on until now, it was hit or miss...he would see her 3-4 evenings in a months time. Now she is out of high school and goes to a community college and does frequent his house more (1-2 days/week), mainly to get some much needed cash being teenager on-the-go with a car and no job! I feel that at this age the wrestling is just inappropriate and should stop, but he says they've done it since she was a little girl. My argument is that she is a woman now and he needs to start treating her like a lady. Help me out here...am I off my rocker? He thinks I am!! Thanks.
