DO YOU HAVE A STORY ABOUT A SPECIAL MOMENT OF INTIMACY, LOVE OR TENDERNESS SHARED WITH YOUR BABY?

Would you like to be part of an inspirational new book for parents and caregivers and help neglected and abused children at the same time?

Research has shown that less stress and more fun is best for baby's brain development and that parents and caregivers who spend time engaging in lots of loving touch and relaxed interactions with their baby are actually helping their child’s brain to develop. Following the success of her first book, ‘Move Baby Move’ www.movebabymove.info which links early exercise with brain development and learning, author Sophie Foster has started work on her next book, ‘Love Baby Love,’ which links parents’ experiences of intimacy, love and tenderness with their baby, with brain development.

Paediatrician Dr. Bruce Perry, MD., PH.D, will once again be writing the forward. Dr. Perry is renowned for his dedication and commitment to raising awareness about how a baby's brain develops in its first few years and the importance of early experiences. Sophie will be donating a percentage of proceeds from 'Love Baby Love' to the Child Trauma Academy www.childtraumaacademy.org a not-for-profit organisation which conducts research into child neglect and maltreatment.

We need your help because the plan for ‘Love Baby Love’ is to contain ‘love’ stories from you, your partner, your parents, grandparents, relatives, friends -or anyone you know who has an interesting, inspiring or amusing story of a special moment of intimacy, love or kindness experienced in the first five years of your child’s life.

We’ll incorporate as many of your stories as possible. There will be a commentary on each story from the author. Pseudonyms will be used so that your privacy is protected and the stories may be edited. Full copyright will belong to Jumping Beans International Limited

All stories submitted will go in the draw to win a free, signed copy of ‘Move Baby Move’.

Stories should be short, sweet and inspirational – humour is great! Up to 300 words. Please email your story by October 31st’08 to Sophie@jumpingbeans.net

THANKS!
