A Podcast hosted on International Dad featuring show hosts Scott Lancaster and co-hosts Eric Mooij and Stefan Korn from DIYFather.com.
Today guest is Paul Curry, CEO of the Families Commission.
The Families Commission is an autonomous Crown agency set up in July 2004 to actively speak out for better policies, services and support for all New Zealand families and whanau.
The Commission works to ensure families and whanau have the capacity to care for and nurture their members. We want them to participate in the social, economic and cultural life in Aotearoa New Zealand. We also want to make sure families are supported by their communities, government and society.
To achieve this advocacy role, we promote the needs and interests of all families to government and the wider community. We need to understand issues that affect families so we make a big effort to hear directly from families and the organisations involved with them.
