Party-Favor Poppers for your Kids

Materials: 1. With a craft knife, cut a zigzag pattern almost all the way around the middle of toilet-paper tube. You don't want to cut the tube totally apart. Leave 1/2" or so intact between the two ends. (Have your father supervise when you use the craft knife) 2. Cut a piece of wrapping paper about twice as long as the tube. 3. Place the tube in the middle of the wrapping paper. Roll it inside the wrapping paper and tape it. 4. You're going to be wrapping your tube like a piece of candy, so take hold of the wrapping paper at one end of the tube and twist it. 5. Tie a ribbon around the middle of the twist you just made. 6. Now fill tube with goodies from the other end. 7. Twist to close this end and then tie ribbon around it. Tip: by diynetwork.com |
