Happy Father's Day!

The team at DIYFather wish all dads in New Zealand and Australia a happy Father's Day! Today is your day - we hope you can spend it with your kids and family.

Interestingly, Wikipedia defines this day as follows:

Father's Day is a secular celebration inaugurated in the early twentieth century to complement Mother's Day in celebrating fatherhood and parenting by males, and to honor and commemorate fathers and forefathers. Father's Day is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide and typically involves gift-giving to fathers and family-oriented activities.

Only New Zealand and Australia celebrate father's day today (first Sunday in September). Most countries celebrate it on the 3rd Sunday in June.

Whatever the date - it's great to see dads all over the world celebrating it!

Hey Badcam - many thanks and yes we have submitted the site to Google but only last week so I guess they haven't got round indexing it yet. I think we will get "diyfather" as a keyword to make sure people can find us in the meantime.

Cheers - Stef

Good luck guys. Now I know that your website is new, but it seems that you haven't told Google about your website. I did struggle to find it. If I type DIY father into Google, even ten pages deep, it still doesn't even register. Has it been submitted?
