Hi Guys
Has anyone got any ideas on how to stop our 17 week old from turning 180 deg in his cot? My wife is VERY paranoid (as you can imagine)and is going to rush out and buy a "safety sleep". It was his first night in his "big boy bed" last night and seemed to have had a party! Hopefully one of you guys will have an idea and be able to save me a little bit of money.

Hey Tony - having exactly the same problem with Noah. We tried having the cot at a slight angle this weekend (not so much for the turning but to see if it would affect reflux). From what I can tell this may also help with the turning ... as it must be "weirder" now for him to lie face down, across or the wrong way round (because of the slide).
This is absolutely not scientific but he slept really well in it the first night. I just used to bricks on one side of the bed which cost me $2.91 ...

Hey Tony - This is a great question and one that is currently occuring with Pyper, she loves 180 degree turns and even manages to pull the covers over her face a few times now, which has scared me a lot to say none the less.
We brought a couple of lightweight sleep sacks and they worked for a few days, so we then decided to buy the safety sleep which we tried with her today and she screamed the house down. Hmmm whats next a straight jacket.
We will introduce the safety sleep at night so she will slowly get use to, they arent cheap thats for sure but I got stopped by a mother who said they really do work.
I hope this helps but doesnt entirely answer your question about saving money.
