I'm all for freedom, love and attention when it comes to my children. However as to do I think it is "natural" to share a bed with a 12 year old daughter... "No".

I'm not saying it’s wrong, just really not natural, my only concern would not be of foal play but rather of what is being thought to the young girl.
What sort of woman will she grow up to be?

I personally would like to teach my children to sleep and stay in their own beds without feeling the need for company (even mine) in bed with them.

Don't expect things to change overnight, this is something the father needs to drive and install in his young daughter, and only if he really wants to.
