This is a comment about stay at home dads posted by Larry:
A stay at home dad is living off his wife's income, right? So I don't believe it's fair for a single man without kids to pay taxes, especially if the single man gets laid off from his job and earns a low income for the year. The cost of living is very high in Madison, WI and the single man should keep the money he earns. I will contact a senator and congressman about this.

No, my logic isn't flawed, I've met men who have told me directly that they prefer to live off their wife's earnings rather than be single and working. They have no faith in the job market, because they didn't like their last job or they were laid off. I wouldn't want to be single, have a job I didn't like, and listen to a married guy say how glad he is that he is not working.
I'm not sure what you are
I'm not sure what you are trying to say Larry?
If you make money you pay tax, if you don't make money how can you pay tax.
I am a SAHD, we live off what my wife makes.
If I was the money earner then we would be living off what I make.
As we are a family her income is our income, so in a way we pay the tax because it's money they take away from our family.
Larry thanks for your
Larry thanks for your comments, but your logic is somewhat flawed to be fair. I am a stay at home dad and to the best of my knowledge I dont live off my wife's earnings, I have a couple of businesses. I dont think your senator or congressman will agree with your either, Govt. will not care if your a SAHD or a singleman earning a low income, they want their share regardless.
