Top 10 songs to make a baby go to sleep

Here's my list of top 10 songs to make a baby go to sleep. It worked for our little man and we figured out he's definitely got a preference for female voices. Try them out ... you never know ... they might just work for you as well :-)

My 1month and 4day old little girl, is not sleeping as she did befor, it started on x-mas day, when she was awake from half 2pm until 10pm, she keep goin 2 sleep and then she wakes up after 5minz, she gose to the loo and then always wonts a bottle I sing 2 her and that helps sometimes, iv tryed everythink could any1 help?

The Supremes are dream machines. "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," "Come See About Me," and "Stop! In the Name of Love." Played in that order with swaddling, rocking, and patting, if you don't have a sleeping baby something is definitely wrong. Other favorites of my boys, James Taylor, John Lennon, and Def Leppard's "Hysteria." My first born also once pulled an all-nighter, while teething, to Johnny Cash The Sun Years. There is something about the back beat in the Motown and the slap bass in Cash that lulls them off.

While most people look at lullaby type songs, we found that songs with a strong beat worked really well. Working Class Man was one song that was guaranteed to put our little one to sleep - the louder the better. Rock songs with a good beat often work well if the lullaby type doesn't work.

Top Song 2 make ME sleepy

Im 22, and just saw the website on the news. I came on and checked it out.

When i was a child my dad sung 'Morning Has Broken' by Cat Stevens, to me to make me go to sleep. It apparently worked like a charm, and it still makes me sleepy when i hear it now.
